With the version of ALDISmobile specially developed for mobile devices, you always have the thunderstorm map from ALDIS (Austrian Lightning Detection and Information System) with you.
With the latest version, you have both an overview of the past hours and an active thunderstorm warning.
You can keep an eye on current thunderstorm events on the interactive map, automatically zoom to your current location using the location determination function, and use the thunderstorm warning feature to be warned of thunderstorm activity in a selected area by push notification.
You will receive a thunderstorm warning for a selectable area (40 x 40 km) via push notification directly on your smartphone or via a connected smartwatch directly on your wrist!
If you are alerted by the app, make sure of the current development of the situation by looking closely at the direction of travel of the thunderstorms over Austria in the past few hours.
You can play back the animated thunderstorms in Austria over the past three and a half hours by tapping the play button in the timeline at the top left.
If you are outdoors and currently see thunderstorms nearby, move to a protected area immediately.
